- An entry point is a standard or custom feature in the SAP application which a user or background process will use.
- Every entry point is tied to a specific business behavior or activity within a specific business process.
- Panaya analyzes many entry points, including transactions (user forms to enter/update/view business data), reports, layouts, background processes (scheduled jobs), and interfaces to non-SAP systems (IDocs, RFCs)
- For each entry point, Panaya maintains the intensity of usage by the business (frequently used, normally used, rarely used, unused).
