Script Builder Browser Issue – Troubleshooting Guide

Recent browser security updates in Chrome and Edge may affect ScriptBuilder for some users. We are actively working on a permanent resolution.

You may experience one of the following -

  • ScriptBuilder does not launch.

  • A message indicates that the required extension is not installed.

  • Test automation execution fails unexpectedly.

Google Chrome

If ScriptBuilder fails to launch -

  1. Set Google Chrome as the default browser on your pc.

  2. Open ScriptBuilder Settings.

  3. Enable Use Chrome for Testing.

  4. Retry launching ScriptBuilder.

Note

  • Some organizations may block this option.

  • If Use Chrome for Testing is unavailable or does not resolve the issue, please contact Panaya Support. Microsoft Edge

Using Microsoft Edge?

If you are using Microsoft Edge -

  1. Verify that the Panaya Automation extension is not installed.

  2. Use Google Chrome as a temporary workaround.
