Linking Steps to Defects

Panaya allows you to link or unlink test steps to existing defects. This capability is helpful when Panaya did not automatically recognize the influence.

To link step influence -  

1. Open up a defect and select the Influence tab.
2. Click on Link Steps and use free text search to locate the step you wish to link.
3. Select one or more steps and click on the Link button
   
4. Select the Influence Type, i.e., how this defect should influence test and step executionUpon completion, the defect will appear in the Defects tab for all selected tests.
