This article explains how the SAP GUI session and the SAP Logon window are handled in different execution modes. It clarifies what happens when a test ends and when ScriptBuilder or the Agent is closed.
Debug Run in ScriptBuilder
By default, when playback completes, SAP GUI and SAP Logon remain open.

If you need to debug and troubleshoot your script, we recommend keeping SAP GUI open.
Attended mode using ScriptBuilder
In attended mode runs. SAP GUI closes automatically at the end of the run. SAP Logon may be kept open or closed, depending on the setting configured.
Agent Execution
When the Agent completes the execution, SAP GUI and SAP Logon are closed.
Exiting ScriptBuilder and Agent Manually
ScriptBuidler
When closing ScriptBuilder during or after execution, SAP GUI closes, while SAP Logon may remain open or closed, depending on the configured setting.
Agent
When closing the Agent during execution, SAP GUI and SAP Logon remain open.
