Panaya allows you to define the Status of your Requirements / Features / Workstreams / Analyses (level 1 activities).

A **Requirement**can appear in the following **Statuses**-

Used at the early stages of defining the Requirements
- **Design**
Set a requirement to Design Status when you begin [defining the Test Plan](/v1/docs/how-to-define-the-test-plan-of-a-requirement)
Once you are happy with the Test Plan - use the [**Approve Test Plan**button](/v1/docs/how-to-approve-the-test-plan)
- **Testing**
Move the Requirement to Testing Status when executing the associated Test Cycles
- **Completed**
Use this Status when test execution has been completed and you are ready to go live

For [Release Dynamix](/v1/docs/welcome-to-release-dynamix), the following Statuses are also available -

- **Development**
Set the Requirements to Development status once you have finished defining the [Implementation efforts and calculating the Impact and Risk for Code Changes.](/v1/docs/how-to-analyze-impact-and-risk)
- **Ready to Test**
Set your Requirements as Ready to Test when they are approved, complete, and ready for test execution
