# API Call Limits

## Call Limits

Below are the default API limits for the available calls. These limits are per User ID. Use this as a reference when coding your application.

**Update and Create (Post/Put/Patch)** 12 Calls per minute **Read (Get)** 30 Calls per minute **Custom Code Upload / Patches Upload** 2 Calls per day

## **Mass Export APIs Limits**

- Export Tests, Export Tests & Steps, Export Defects -  
100 calls a day per account and no more than 12 calls per minute per user (for all post actions)
- API Request Status -  
20 calls per minute per account and no more than 30 calls per minute per user (for all get actions)
