# Related Notes

The Related Notes correction category deals with post-version release notes released after the official SAP version. You can enable Related Notes and select relevant countries when creating a new ECC/SPS, S/4Convert or S/4 Accelerate upgrade project. It is available for upgrades from SAP versions ECC 6.0 EHP6 and higher.

The Related Notes corrections will be included in your project under these conditions:

- The note component has relevant objects in the SAP system or the note component has used related transactions
- The note is not included in the support pack list
- The note has not yet been implemented in the SAP system

Some things to keep in mind:

- We link the Related Notes corrections to existing unit tests if we find a connection to the objects of those unit tests, but we don't create new unit tests for Related Notes corrections
- There is no progress on Related Notes, we only create new tasks if needed but we don’t close existing ones or add them to the exceptions report
- We don't report notes if they are also applicable for the source version of your SAP system
- We report on SAP Notes that are included in higher versions of the target system’s software component
- There is no option to create Related Notes for HR only projects

For **ECC/SPS** projects, 3 types of Related Notes corrections are available:

How-to Note Problem Note Program Error Note

Scoping Recommendations: Scope out the LOW priority tasks and focus on the HIGH ones. Briefly review the MEDIUM priority tasks.
