# Panaya cannot connect to the SAP client - Synchronizer Issue

**Before you continue**

Validate Prerequisites with the Basis Team

1. Ensure that all [How to sync Code Changes in Panaya?](/v1/docs/how-to-sync-code-changes-in-panaya) are met
2. Verify all [Authorizations Required for Running Panaya RDx Synchronizer](/v1/docs/authorizations-required-for-running-panaya-rdx-synchronizer) apply

## **Solution 1 - SAP Server Side Settings**

1. Enable GUI scripting as described. [How to set server parameters to enable GUI scripting (Server Side)?](/v1/docs/how-to-set-server-parameters-to-enable-gui-scripting-server-side)
2. Check to see if the problem persists

## **Solution 2 - SAP Client Settings**

1. Follow the [SAP Client settings to work with Panaya Testing](/v1/docs/how-to-define-your-sap-client-settings-to-work-with-panaya)
2. Check to see if the problem persists

## **Solution 3 - Add Panaya to trusted sites**

1. Follow [How to add Panaya to your trusted sites?](/v1/docs/how-to-add-panaya-to-your-trusted-sites) to add Panaya to your trusted sites
2. Check to see if the problem persists

## **Solution 4 - Run as Administrator**

1. Try to [How to launch your browser as administrator](/v1/docs/how-to-launch-your-browser-as-administrator), and when running SAP Logon.
2. Check to see if the problem persists

## **Solution 5 - SAP System**

## **Solution 6 - Citrix Connection or VPN connectivity**

If you are using a Citrix or VPN connection, please be advised that both the SAP and the Panaya sessions should only be run from the same machine or the same remote connection. Please contact the IT team within your organization and verify that both SAP and PANAYA are enabled on the same remote connection.
