# Agent Prerequisites

The agent must be set up on at least one virtual or physical machine for remote test executions, with the following -

- Operating System - Windows 10, 11, or Windows Server 2019 and higher, 64-bit system.
- Operating system administrator permissions.
- [DevTools enabled](/v1/docs/devtools-disabled-by-policy) (through Windows Group Policy).
- CPU - at least dual-core, 2.0 GHz or higher. Pentium or Celeron processors are not supported.
- RAM - 4GB minimum, 8GB recommended.
- Network - a powerful network connection for effective test run executions.
- The agent can be installed on virtual machines like Amazon EC2, Azure Virtual Machines, VMware VMs, etc.
- The agent can be installed on a [Terminal Server/RDS and Citrix](/v1/docs/test-automation-remote-multi-user-setup).

However, installing the agent on Azure Virtual Desktop AVD and Amazon Workspaces is not supported. We’re continuously working to expand our support for additional environments.

> Panaya’s Agent cannot be used simultaneously with the Run & Document, Quick Test Recorder and Player.

## **Application Under Test**

To run automated scripts, ensure the following are installed on the machine where the agent runs -

- A supported browser (Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome) is required for testing web-based applications.
- SAP WinGUI (desktop client) for testing SAP GUI transactions.
