# Panaya Tests

A test within Panaya is a business scenario that you would need to validate.

These are the optional **statuses** for test activities:

- **Passed** - all test steps are reported as Passed
- **Failed** - at least one step in the test activity was reported as Failed
- **Not Run** - all test steps of the test are in Not Run status OR all test steps of the test are in Not Applicable status
- **In Progress** - at least one step in the test activity is in Not Run status
