# Manual Usage Extraction

To extract usage statistics from the production system, you need to access the production system, run transaction **ST03N** (R/3 Workload and Performance Statistics), and export the required information. Then, send your data via email to [Panaya support](mailto:support@panaya.com?subject=Manual%20Usage%20Extraction&amp;body=Please%20attach%20your%20data%20to%20this%20email).

## Extracting Transaction Usage

Follow these steps to extract the **transaction** data for each month the system collects data -

1. Run transaction **ST03N** in production
2. Choose **Expert Mode**
3. Choose Month XX
4. Under the Analysis View > Transaction profiles > **Standard**
5. Choose the **Times** Tab
6. Export the list to an Excel spreadsheet (include the month and year in the file name).
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for each month

## Extracting RFC Usage

Follow the below steps to extract the **RFC** usage data for each month the system collects data -

1. Run transaction **ST03N** in production
2. Choose **Expert Mode**
3. Choose Month XX
4. Under the Analysis View > RFC profiles > **RFC Server Profile**
5. Choose the **Function Module** Tab
6. Export the list to an Excel spreadsheet (include the month and year in the file name)
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for each month

Important!

When exporting usage for both transactions and RFCs, please send both CVS files to Panaya.

## **Send Panaya Your Usage Statistics**

Ensure each file has the usage month and year in the file name.

Send your data via email to [Panaya support](mailto:support@panaya.com?subject=Manual%20Usage%20Extraction&amp;body=Please%20attach%20your%20data%20to%20this%20email).

## **Upload a Full Code Extraction**

Once confirmed that the usage was uploaded to your account, you should run a full extraction and upload it to Panaya.
