# Importing from HP ALM (QC)

You can convert your existing assets from HP ALM into Panaya.

The following can be imported from HP ALM -

- **Tests** Importing your test cases from Microfocus ALM can be done using the [Test Box](/v1/docs/how-to-import-test-assets-with-panayas-test-box) or by [importing from a template spreadsheet](/v1/docs/how-to-import-tests-from-files).
- **Defects** Learn how to [import defects](/v1/docs/how-to-import-defects).
- **Requirements** HP ALM [Requirements](/v1/docs/how-to-import-development-activities) import is also supported, but data manipulation is needed since, in ALM, requirements are hierarchical, and in Panaya, they are flat.

Imports **do not include** -

- Attachments
- Screenshots
- History
- Test Results and execution data
- Links between entities
- Comments
- Versioning
- Scripts (e.g., UFT)
- Business Components/BPT
- Reports/dashboard definitions
- Test Resources
- Releases
- Workflow code
