# Setting the Project Status

Only the following are permitted to **change the Project details** -

- [**Project Manager**](/v1/docs/what-are-predefined-roles)****or****[**Administrator**](/v1/docs/what-are-predefined-roles)****Role **for the relevant Project**
- Users assigned with the [**Create/Edit Projects**](/v1/docs/how-to-define-roles-permissions)****permission

To define the Project Status as **Active**, **Completed,**or **On Hold -**

1. [Log in to Panaya](/v1/docs/how-to-log-in-to-panaya)

3. Hover the **Overview tab**and select **Project Details.**

5. Click **Save.**
