# Planned vs. Actual Report

The **Planned vs. Actual** report allows you to view the **actual project progress**, compared to your **original plan**and [**daily targets**](/v1/docs/project-execution-plan)**.** You can [define your **execution plan**](/v1/docs/project-execution-plan)****by utilizing test and step due dates or set custom daily targets that are fully adjustable to meet your planned schedule.

The planned number is based on daily targets as configured for the project in the execution plan. It does not reflect the number of actual test steps.

**Looking for our previous Planned vs. Actual report?** We kept the old report and renamed it to [Steps Execution Report](/v1/docs/what-are-the-available-tests-reports)

**Please note that the Planned vs. Actual report relies on UTC.** This can lead to different days in the report than what you expect based on your time zone. For example, the Pacific Time Zone is 8 hours behind UTC, which means that in the evening of Pacific Time, the next day will already show on the report because the report is based on UTC.
