# Mass-Deletion of Defects

**Before you continue**

- You will need the Delete Defects permission to be able to permanently delete Defects
- You may consider [Resolving the Defect](/v1/docs/how-to-resolve-a-defect) and defining the resolved reason as **Not a Bug**, **Cannot Reproduce** or **Won't Fix**

**From within a Project -**

1. Click on the **Defects tab.**

2. **Select one or more Defects** from the list
3. Click on the **Delete button**

**Important!**  

- Deleted Defects cannot be restored
