# Deleting Cycles

**Caution!** Deleted cycles and tests can be [restored](https://success.panaya.com/docs/how-to-delete-a-single-test#restore-deleted-tests) within 30 days. After that time, deleted cycles and tests cannot be restored.

Only users with [Mass Edit permission](/v1/docs/how-to-allowdeny-user-permissions) can delete an entire Cycle.

**From within a Project -**

1. Hover over the **Tests tab** and select **Test Tree**

2. **Right-click** on the relevant Cycle and select **Delete** **![](https://cdn.document360.io/f404076c-de23-4609-848e-2dfd4ef701b0/Images/Documentation/image-1722248944621.png)**
3. In the dialog box that appears, check "Items in the Recycle Bin are permanently deleted after 30 days.

You can restore it from the Recycle Bin before that time." Then, click **Yes, delete**.
