# Decomposing a Requirement

Depending on your selected [development Methodology](/v1/docs/how-to-setup-your-development-methodology), you can decompose [Level 1 development i](/v1/docs/how-to-setup-your-development-methodology)tems (typically requirements or features) into**[level 2 activities](/v1/docs/how-to-setup-your-development-methodology)**such as **User Stories**.

From **within your project** -

1. Select a **r****equirement**/ **f****eature / analysis**[Level 1 development item](/v1/docs/how-to-setup-your-development-methodology).

3. Click **Save**
