# Changing your System Name

This article explains how to change your system name as it appears in Panaya. This information allows Panaya to correlate the information extracted from the systems correctly, and better understand your Systems, and present you with more accurate information in the right way.

To change your System name as it appears in Panaya -

1. Click on the **Settings button ![](https://cdn.document360.io/f404076c-de23-4609-848e-2dfd4ef701b0/Images/Documentation/image-1639063834292.png)**to open up the settings panel
2. Click on the **pencil**icon ![](https://panaya.nanorep.co/storage/nr1/kb/32206D1/32206E8/3CEB2FE/3/pencil.png) next to the **System Name**

3. In the dialog box that appears, give your System**a new name** and click **Save**
