# Automatic user assignment for SAP

When creating new users in Panaya, you can provide each user with the relevant **SAP username**.Based on the SAP username, Panaya can assign [newly generated activities](/v1/docs/what-does-the-status-mean-in-the-recent-analysis-summary-report) according to the last person who has modified the object.The assignment is performed automatically when [uploading your custom code](/v1/docs/how-to-extract-and-upload-your-custom-code) - if the SAP username is already defined in Panaya [User Management](/v1/docs/how-to-manage-users-in-panaya), the assignment is performed automatically for newly generated activities.
