# Download & Install ScriptBuilder

To download and install the ScriptBuilder -

1. [Please review Panaya’s ScriptBuilder system and technical prerequisites here.](/v1/docs/prerequisites-for-using-panaya-scriptbuilder)
2. Click on the **Settings**button to open up the Settings panel.

3. On the configuration page, scroll down to the Test Automation section and click Install to download the ScriptBuilder .msi installation file.

4. Run the ScriptBuilder.msi file and follow the installation wizard until its final step.

> [!CAUTION]
> Operating system administrator permissions are required to complete the setup.

6. **Running your application under test in Google Chrome browser?**

Starting with version 137, you must install the [‘Panaya ScriptBuilder Extension for Test Automation’](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/panaya-test-automation/bhbpajbdlmemfiimcpbemelcoijoiikb).
7. To launch ScriptBuilder, select the Script tab [in an Automated Test](/v1/docs/creating-automated-tests) and click the **Open ScriptBuilder**button.
