# Copying Roles & Permissions

To **copy Roles & Permissions** settings from one system to another.

1. Use the **Settings button![](https://cdn.document360.io/f404076c-de23-4609-848e-2dfd4ef701b0/Images/Documentation/image-1639644991148.png)** to open the settings panel.
2. Select **Roles & Permissions**![](https://cdn.document360.io/f404076c-de23-4609-848e-2dfd4ef701b0/Images/Documentation/image-1747558737634.png)Roles & Permissions are defined **per System**, so select the relevant **System** **from** the drop-down list.  
The selected System is the target system where the Roles and Permissions definitions will be copied to

3. Use the **Import from Another System** option.

4. In the dialog box, select the system you wish to copy the Roles and Permissions definition from and click **Import.**
