# Panaya Support for Regulatory Compliance

Panaya helps organizations in regulated industries streamline and digitize their testing processes while maintaining the controls, traceability, and electronic signatures required for compliance. The Regulatory Compliance package extends Panaya's testing capabilities with governance features that help ensure tests are properly reviewed, approved, executed, and documented in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

The Regulatory Compliance package includes -

- **Controlled Test Planning**

Configure testing cycles as [Regulated](/v1/docs/how-to-set-a-cycle-as-regulated) to enforce controlled execution.

Only reviewed and approved tests are available for execution, helping ensure that unapproved test cases cannot be run.
- **Controlled Automated Testing**

Automated tests cannot be executed until the required review and approval process is completed.

Once an automated test has been approved, its automation script is locked to preserve the integrity of the approved version.
- **Flexible Test Review and Electronic Sign-off**

Review and electronically sign tests before and after execution.

Configure a single or multiple approvers to match your organization's approval workflow.

Require all designated approvers to complete their review before the test progresses to the next stage.

Review and electronically sign completed test runs, including tests and automated test executions, when required by your compliance process.

- **Compliance Monitoring**

Track review status, approval progress, and signature completion using the [Compliance Monitor](/v1/docs/how-to-keep-track-of-e-signatures-for-tests) reports to provide full visibility into the approval process and support audit readiness.
