# Cannot launch Panaya Recorder or Player

If you are trying to launch the Panaya Testing tool for recording or playing test activities with no success, try to add Panaya to your trusted sites and verify if the extensions are installed correctly, as shown below:

## Verify if the extensions are installed correctly

### **Microsoft Edge Users**

Microsoft Edge users should confirm that the Panaya Web Recorder extension has been installed, as shown below.

1. Verify that the Panaya Recorder extension is Active in edge://extensions
2. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features to confirm that the Panaya Web Recorder appears in the installed programs list
